I do love that we only see him go soft whenever Lily is involved or that he’s willing to do anything to protect Lily. I love Lily once you get past the shy timid girl who is trying to deal with her issues you get a feisty girl. Lily is very much such a complex character, we see her grow so much in the earlier books yet she makes so much progress in this book too. They’re just my babies I think out of all the couples Shade and Lily are still my favourite couple. I have been waiting for this for so long and damn it was worth it because I love Shade and Lily and honestly they are so perfect for each other and it makes my heart melt. So from the beginning of Razer’s Ride I have been waiting for Shade and Lily and damn I love my babies. As always this is actually my second read through of this book the first time I flew through the series so fast I actually forgot to write any notes to help my review so got the joy of rereading them which isn’t an issue because I love this series. Although from different series majority of Jamie’s series interconnect and for me I have read them in the reading order that Jamie suggested. So I started this by reading Razer’s Ride, Viper’s Run and Knox’s stand and Sex Piston, Teased, Tainted and now Shade’s Fall.
